Titan’s ruggedized MWD Gamma Detector Module (MWD-GDM) has been field proven in both conventional MWD drilling applications and in environments associated with electromagnetic (EM-MWD) systems. It has also proven an effective technology for industrial, military, and medical applications.

Titan’s ruggedized MWD Gamma Detector Module (MWD-GDM) has been field proven in both conventional MWD drilling applications and in environments associated with electromagnetic (EM-MWD) systems. It has also proven an effective technology for industrial, military, and medical applications.
The tool’s scintillation crystals and integral PMT assemblies are manufactured using Hunting’s proprietary assembly and shock-mounting technology. This technology provides outstanding protection against damage under higher shock and vibration drilling conditions.
Sensor output is derived from digital filtering and random noise rejection filter provided by onboard microcontroller.
All HID sensors are vibration tested to 30Grms in 3 axis.
Multi level, production vibration testing ensures premium detector performance.
