Interview

Tell us about yourself

I am Faten Alnathiri and a proud mother of three children. I hold a bachelor degree of Information Technology from the Open University, and a master degree of Science from the business school at King’s College. I started working at Hunting in 2018 as a general administrator, then transitioned into internal sales before specialising in HR. Most of my time I’m either working in the office or taking care of my children. In spare time I like to watch movies, read books, cook, practice Yoga, meditation and do some gardening.

Tell us about your role

My current role is Shared Services Leader where I am responsible for managing Human Resources, IT, and Government Relations. A usual day involves me overseeing employee-related matters, offering support and ensuring their work environment is optimal, in addition to obtaining licenses and permits from government offices. What I really like the most about my role, is the diversity, each day is different.

What does "INCLUSION" mean to you?

For me, it means to be included, engaged and to have value within the community. Moreover, inclusion is to have the right for equal opportunities.

How does HUNTING make you feel included??

I always say that a significant part of the organisation’s reputation and success, is closely related to the way an organisation values and prioritizes its employees. Without a doubt, Hunting is one of the leading companies that puts value on its employees and consider them one of the most important sources of capital.

Hunting is great environment that embraces their employees. I can easily think of many opportunities when I felt so lucky to work in such an entity that is fostering a feeling of belonging and equity for everyone. Hunting is a supportive organization that allow employees to voice their opinions and concerns making them feel heard and valued, leading to higher morale, engagement and productivity.

Why do you think Inclusion is important?

It is important because it gives a sense of belonging, respect and value within the workplace. It ensures that all employees, regardless of their background feel valued and have equal opportunities for growth and success. When employees feel included, and participating, they are more engaged, productive, and motivated, contributing to a positive and inclusive organizational culture.

What is your experience of working at HUNTING as a woman?

My experience of working at Hunting becomes very clear by looking at the rapid development of my career at the company, which proves nothing but how much Hunting is committed to develop its employees and to support their career path.

When it comes to my experience especially as a woman, I would not find a better place to work in that imposes very strict anti- discrimination policies, allow flexible working options for women who might have caregiving responsibilities, and provide equal career development opportunities.

Hunting has supported and encouraged me as a woman to take on leadership role and engaged me in the decision-making process. I have so much gratitude for Hunting and I am very thankful for them to accept me to be part of their family.
